Shop by year and generation first (S650, S550, S197, C8, C7, and so on). Our hubs and collections are organized for great year/gen fitment so you land on parts designed for your platform. Match the years on the product title to your VIN years.
Yes. We design for great fitment on the listed years and mounting points. Composite hoods and aero often need hood pins and proper heat shielding — treat those as part of a solid install.
Yes. Many builds run twill on big panels and forged on accents (or the reverse). Read our Forged vs 2×2 twill guide.
Twill is the classic checker weave most people mean by “carbon fiber.” Forged is a marbled chopped-carbon look — each piece is unique. Both are real carbon at TruFiber; pick the look that matches your build.
Fiberglass is strong, light, and cost-effective for aggressive hood styles and race-weight options without the full carbon price. See our fiberglass materials guide.
It depends on the SKU. Product titles and descriptions call out finish (clear-coated carbon vs paint-ready / gel coat). Check the listing if you need a show weave vs a paint-matched look.
Hood pins are recommended for composite lids. They’re a smart safety and setup requirement for how these hoods are meant to be run.
Use heat shielding and insulation as required for your engine bay and driving style. Composite parts and hot bays need that protection for a clean long-term install.
Most TruFiber parts are designed as bolt-on for the listed years, using that generation’s mounting points. Always follow the product page notes for any model-specific hardware.
Start with a gen hub: S650 Mustang, S550 Mustang, S197 Mustang, C8 Corvette, C7 Corvette, Challenger, Charger, or Camaro. Or use Pick your vehicle on the homepage.
